Description

The CFAR Network of Integrated Clinical Systems (CNICS), headquartered at UAB, was funded in September 2006 via the R24 mechanism. The objective of the CNICS project is to integrate clinical data from the large and diverse population of HIV-infected persons in the modern HAART era who are receiving care at one of the many U.S. federally funded Center for AIDS Research (CFAR) sites. This supplement is to fund increased capacity for sample repositorys at UAB and each of the designated CNICS sites through increased FTE's for lab technicians and the purchase of large capacity sub zero freezers.
