UCSF Fresno residents complete a scholarly and quality improvement project during their three years of training.  Residents receive extensive support and individualized expert assistance for their projects by family medicine research faculty and staff.  They present their project to their peers and members of the UCSF Fresno academic community at the end of their three years of training.  Residents have multiple opportunities for regional and national dissemination work that is encouraged by the program.
