Description

Food insecurity is a considerable challenge in sub-Saharan Africa, disproportionately affecting persons living with HIV/AIDS. My work investigates the relationship among socioeconomic status, social support, and food insecurity. This study explores the effect of Shamba Maisha, a multisectoral agricultural intervention, on the nutritional, sexual, and reproductive health of adolescent girls in the Nyanza Region of Kenya.
