PwC/UCSF Fellowship Program Agreement
Location(s): United States
Description
In 2012, the Global Health Group and PwC Global Healthcare partnered to establish a joint Fellowship program to advance the study of public-private partnerships (PPPs) in health around the world. The Fellowship program builds upon the two organizations' common interest in PPPs as innovative models to improve the quality, efficiency and accessibility of health care across countries at all levels of economic development.
UCSF/PwC Health Fellows are selected from among the PwC global network of firms through a competitive application process. Fellows spend six months with the Global Health Group as a member of the Private Sector Healthcare Initiative team, conducting desk research and/or primary research in target countries, and co-authoring one or more white papers or reports to document, evaluate, and increase understanding of PPP models, including their impact, costs and challenges.
