Description

The goal of the Global Health Group’s Private Sector Healthcare Initiative (PSHi) is to study and promote understanding of innovative solutions for strengthening health systems in developing countries through the engagement of the private sector. Through the PSHi, the Global Health Group provides practical and scientific advice, technical and program support, consensus building and lesson-sharing to countries and non-state organizations. The Global Health Group works closely with a wide range of public and private partners, both in-country and internationally, to accomplish its work.

The African Health Markets for Equity (AHME) partnership is an investment by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the UK’s Department for International Development to increase coverage of priority health technologies and interventions amongst the poor.  Global Health Group partners with AHME in Ghana and Kenya.
