PanACEA II is a network of 5 European and 11 African institutions who share the common vision of developing ground-breaking strategies in TB drug development. The partners from the consortium meet at a mimimum once per year face to face and have frequent exchange through teleconferences, emails and intranet. The PanACEA secretariat is located at Radboudumc Nijmegen, with core functions housed within partner sites of expertise. UCSF houses the statistics core of the African/European PanACEA consortium. PanACEA is evaluating novel regimens for the treatment of TB, and implementing the PanACEA MAMS-TB phase II trial with a Multi-Arm Multi-Stage (MAMS) design.
