This study is being conducted to determine how to best meet the family planning needs of HIV-infected women in Kenya. It is a cluster-randomized trial comparing the effects of integrating family planning services into HIV care and treatment programs in Nyanza Province, Kenya, with the standard referral for family planning services outside of HIV care and treatment programs. The study is specifically looking at contraceptive uptake, contraceptive continuation, and unintended pregnancy rates.
