Description

Namibia is preparing for malaria elimination thanks to declining incidence of malaria in the country. The Zambezi region of Namibia historically has experienced a higher incidence of malaria compared to the rest of the country due its tropical climate, remote location, and porous borders with Zambia and Botswana. This study aimed to determine the prevalence of malaria and potential risk factors for malaria among residents of the Zambezi region of Namibia.
