Description
The Global Health Core (GHC) within the Division of Hospital Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, aims to improve the health of vulnerable populations throughout the world by adapting the unique skill sets of academic hospitalists to resource poor settings to reduce the burden of disease and realize global health equity. These skills broadly include health systems strengthening, medical education, quality improvement, knowledge sharing, and clinically competent care of acutely ill patients.
