Description
This study will compare cerebral vasoreactivity, a measure of cerebrovascular endothelial function, in response to breath-holding between treated, virally suppressed HIV-infected individuals followed in a large observational cohort and uninfected control participants in China, where the burden of cerebrovascular disease is high. We will also determine the impact of markers of HIV infection and systemic inflammation on cerebrovascular endothelial function.
