Description
Improving pediatric clinical outcomes through the generation of regionally specific data and the development of evidenced-based guidelines that are successful within the constraints of local resource availability. I am using skills from the GHS Masters program (UCSF) and my clinical and research experience from South America, Southeast Asia, and sub-Saharan Africa to focus on pediatric mortality in sub-Saharan Africa. I am currently collaborating on several projects including causes of non-malarial fever in Malawi, pediatric sepsis in Tanzania, and the cost-effectiveness of bubble CPAP for pediatric pneumonia in Malawi.
