Intensified case finding (ICF) is recommended for all PLHIV at every clinic visit. Previously, we demonstrated that ICF has similar yield but would require half as many Xpert MTB/RIF confirmatory tests if TB screening were based on point-of-care C-reactive protein (POC CRP) levels instead of symptoms. Here, we compare the same ICF strategies when repeated at 3 months.
