Evaluation and Technical Assistance Center for the Special Projects of National Significance (SPNS) Systems Linkages Initiative
Location(s): United States
Description
Funded by the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Special Projects of National Significance Program (SPNS), the Systems Linkage and Access to Care for Populations at High Risk for HIV Infection Initiative aims to address two of the three primary goals of the National HIV/AIDS Strategy: increasing access to care and optimizing health outcomes and reducing HIV-related health disparities.
The Initiative’s Evaluation and Technical Assistance Center (ETAC) at UCSF supports six demonstration states (Massachusetts, New York, Virginia, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Louisiana) that are implementing innovative and effective strategies to link and retain hard-to-reach populations into quality HIV care. In collaboration with HRSA SPNS and the six demonstration states, the ETAC will also conduct a comprehensive multi-state evaluation to identify and document successful linkage models for the purposes of dissemination and replication at the national level.
