Location(s): Kenya

The Linda Afya ya Mama na Mtoto project seeks to improve maternal and neonatal outcomes by targeting community and facility level barriers to quality health care. Through the Linda Afya ya Mama na Mtoto project, PRONTO has trained all the staff at 27 primary level facilities in Kakamega County, Kenya. As part of the evaluation of the impact of the Linda Afya ya Mama na Mtoto Project, delivery outcome information will be collected on every delivery in primary level facilities in 5 districts in Kakamega County (3 intervention and 2 comparison). Through this project we aim to measure the impact of PRONTO trainings on maternal and perinatal outcomes in Western Kenya
