Dr. Peabody's work focuses on the leading economic challenges of our day: identifying tests, therapeutics and practices that will lead to better health for patients at a lower cost to payers. The fundamentals of this approach are to begin by quantifying potential benefits and then extend this to examine real world clinical practice. At its core this more sophisticated approach means understanding clinical decision making. To do this Dr. Peabody developed a globally adopted standard for measuring clinical practice variation, known now simply as CPVTM. CPVTM and this approach has been used by companies, physician groups, hospitals, payers and governments around the world to establish the value of products and practices.
