Anesthesia education in settings with limited resources
Location(s): Uganda; Nepal
Through association with Global Partners in Anesthesia and Surgery (GPAS) I have been involved in educational activities.
In 2014, I was presenting at the Annual Meeting of the Nepali Anesthesia Society and was teacher at a Regional Anesthesia course held as part of the meeting.
In 2015, I joined GPAS for a trip to Uganda, again focusing on anesthesia resident training. My clinical specialties are regional anesthesia and acute pain medicine. I am interested in establishing pathways for emergency room pain management and postoperative analgesia that can be easily to adopted in settings with limited resources.
