Description

The San Francisco Area AIDS Education and Training Center (SFAETC) is a Local Performance Site of the Pacific AIDS Education and Training Center (PAETC) at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). We are located in the UCSF Department of Family and Community Medicine (FCM).

The PAETC is a network of clinicians and HIV program experts who provide clinical consultation, HIV education and clinical training, and capacity-building technical assistance to clinicians and institutions in support of efforts to increase the quality of care provided to HIV-infected patients and their families. Our faculty includes expert HIV clinicians and clinical consultants based at UCSF and SFGH, and experienced community-based primary care providers actively engaged in HIV/AIDS treatment, care, and biomedical and clinical research.

PAETC is an affiliate of the UCSF AIDS Research Institute, and is funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration, HIV/AIDS Bureau (HRSA/HAB) under the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Modernization Act.
