Description
The Women, Children, and HIV Web site is the result of a collaboration between the François-Xavier Bagnoud (FXB) Center at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) and the Center for HIV Information (CHI) at the University of California San Francisco. Currently, the project is supported by Global Strategies to develop training materials on pediatric HIV infection in collaboration with the ASPIRE program at UCSF. The goals of this Web site are to:
- Disseminate state-of-the-art clinical information and training materials on HIV prevention and care for healthcare workers who care for women and children affected by the HIV epidemic.
- Communicate the best practices in preventing mother-to-child transmission of HIV (PMTCT) and caring for infected children.
- Disseminate clinical information and training resources on perinatally acquired and pediatric HIV infection
