Co-founder and current Director of the Roatan Volunteer Pediatric Clinic in Roatan, Honduras, one of the largest pediatric resident international health electives available to US trainees. I am a member of the Board of Directors of the 501(c)3 Global Healing, where I have also served as Chair. I am currently leading the TIGRE (Transdisciplinary Immersion in Global health Research and Education) initiative, which engages all four UCSF professional schools (faculty and learners) and affiliate BSRI, and is now extending to engage other UC campuses, specifically UCB, UCD, UCM, and UCSB.
