Description

Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) is a fundamental component of the National Malaria Control and Elimination Program. Through M&E, the program’s results at impact, outcome, output and input levels can be measured to provide the basis for accountability and informed decision making at both program and policy level.

Indicators have been developed taking into account the guidelines in the GFATM recommended M&E Toolkit (2009) as well as global and regional malaria indicator frameworks developed by WHO and partners. A complete list of indicators at the impact, outcome and output levels, for both malaria control and malaria elimination, is presented in the Program Indicator Framework (PIF)
