Description

Implementation science initiatives to support and strengthen health systems to more efficiently deliver programs in resource-limited settings. Focus on identifying bottlenecks and solutions to the implementation of proven interventions for HIV prevention and treatment in Tanzania, Zambia, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and the United States. Supporting the government of Tanzania to improve the delivery of methadone and other harm reduction services for people who inject drugs. He has also served as a co-investigator for domestic initiatives regarding the influence of the criminal justice system on health care access and the impact of naloxone laws and programs on opioid overdose deaths.
