"Schools as a Conduit for Public Health” coalesces faculty expertise from the USC Price School, USC School of Pharmacy, and the Keck School of Medicine of USC.  The researchers will examine the role and effectiveness of elementary school-based health centers in improving student and community public health and student academic performance. The project focuses on identifying solutions to challenges facing the City Heights San Diego community with applications to other low-income, urban communities around the globe.
