Ryan White Dental Reimbursement Program
Location(s): United States
Dental Reimbursement Program partially compensates dental schools, postdoctoral dental education programs, and dental hygiene education programs for unreimbursed costs they have incurred in providing oral health services to persons living with HIV/AIDS. Reimbursement will be made for documenting the number of HIV patients served and the unreimbursed oral health costs incurred by each institution as compared with the total number of patients served and costs incurred by all eligible applicants. The purpose of the Dental Reimbursement program is to reduce the unmet oral health care needs of persons living with HIV and provide clinical training for dental and hygiene students and dental residents.
