Description

In Kenya, a country home to over 43 million people and just 200 radiologists, access to medical imaging may seem slim to many citizens, especially those in rural Kenya. A collaboration with Moi Medical Center has created a fleet of imaging trucks, and the images generated in rural clinics are discussed in a joint training program, using platform for radiology education in real time with Kenyan Radiology residents. Our department hopes to expand this offering to other countries through our CUGH interest group, focusing on stroke education.
