Description

A collaboration of institutions that work together to identify, support and implement clinical trials that will contribute to the reproductive health of people and lead to the prevention and control of sexually transmitted infections (STIs). STI-CTG researches the safety and efficacy of new diagnostics, therapeutics, topical microbicides, vaccines and behavioral interventions aimed at preventing and controlling diseases or pathogens such as chlamydial infection, gonorrhea, syphilis, chancroid, human papillomavirus, herpes simplex virus 1 and 2, and HIV as it is associated with other STIs.
