Malaria and private sector impacts in health systems

Description

Worked with a team to model convergence for the Commission on Investing in Health's Global Health 2035 report. Worked on the economics of malaria elimination. Worked on a project to align global actors in addressing the key and emerging challenges of health system stewardship, with specific attention to the private sector. He additionally works on projects that focus on hospital stewardship and collective action for non-communicable diseases. Dr. Hatefi is interested in both designing global scale solutions to global health challenges and health care performance. He has particular interests in global functions and public goods, health system strengthening, priority setting and resource allocation, health in all policies, health diplomacy and security, and communicating the returns on investing in health globally.
