Description

More than two-thirds of the world’s population lack access to basic life-saving surgery. This disparity is accentuated in low- and middle-income countries, which account for the majority of the surgical burden. Many of these countries have limited surgical workforce and capacity, and efforts to resolve these limitations must also encompass strategies to improve quality and safety. This study assessed the capacity and process of surgical care delivery at a Soroti Regional Referral Hospital, Uganda
